Funeral service for Robert Tilley, 74, will be held at 2 p.m. on March 11, 2023 in the chapel of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale.  Rev. Mike Westergard will officiate.  Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

Robert was born in the state of Iowa.  He served our country for four years in the United States Air Force.  He was a loving husband to his wife, Ilene, for 49 years, until her passing.  He was a devoted father and grandfather.  Robert will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Robert's memory include his son, Teddy Dewayne Tilley and wife, Stacie; three sisters, Jean Wadsworth, Judy Shadle, and Rose Loosli; three grandchildren-Cole Goode, Megan Buskie, and Emily Tilley; and one great grandchild-Elijah Buskie.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Ilene Tilley; parents, Robert and Alice Tilley; daughter, Tina Goode; brother, Wayne Tilley; and one sister, Lorriane Post.
