He was a 1976 graduate of Rapides High School, where in his senior year, he met the love of his life, his wife Joyce. Rob has been a faithful and devoted husband to his wife Joyce for 48 years. He would eventually retire from Forest Hill Growers. Rob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking where he was known as the "Bean King". But most of all, he loved racing where everyone knew him as "Rocket Rob". He developed his love for racing at the age of 14 which is how the #14 come about. In his later racing years, he moved to the late model class and would adopt racing #114. He was a kind and caring person and loved to spend time with his family and friends. He will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew him. As he would say……." Everything's gonna be alright!" "Love yall."
