Kinder-Funeral service for Robert Deshotel, 71, will be held Sunday, February
27, 2011 at 2PM in Green Oak Bible Church of Kinder. Rev. Jerry Long will
officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 26, 2011 in Green Oak
Bible Church from 1-9PM. Visitation will continue Sunday, February 27, 2011
from 12noon until time of service.
Robert is survived by three brothers, Lawrence Deshotel and wife, Eunice
of Kinder, Don Deshotel and wife Gay of Kinder, and Joe Deshotel and wife,
Dorothy of New Iberia; and, two sisters, Doretta Moorman and husband,
James of Vidor, TX, and Rebecca Underwood and husband, Gary of Stuarts
Draft, Virginia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bertha and Dorcenus Deshotel and
sisters, Carol Rester and Trudy Bourque.
