Kinder-Celebration of Life services honoring Rickie Glenn Willis, 70, will be held on Saturday morning, September 12, 2026, at 11 o’clock a.m. at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Rickie will be laid to rest at Green Oak Cemetery in Kinder, La. immediately following his services.

    Rickie’s family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 5-9 o’clock p.m. Rickie’s visitation will resume at 8 o’clock a.m. until time of service. All of Rickie’s arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.

    Rickie Glenn Willis was a loving husband of 49 years, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a graduate of Oberlin High School, Class of 1976, then attended Delta Career College for 2 years. Rickie was always known as a jokester and loved being with family and friends. He loved his grandchildren and spending time with them. As his children were growing up, Rickie enjoyed being involved with his son in sports, especially football. He also enjoyed watching sports, specifically the Saints and LSU, being outdoors, and working on the farm. Rickie will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by those who knew him.

    Those left to cherish Rickie’s memory include his wife, Angela Maria Willis of Kinder, La; one son, Timothy Willis and wife Haley of Savannah, Tenn; four daughters, Constance Ramos and husband Hector of Kinder, La., Victoria Melancon of Kinder, La., Stephanie Kingrey and husband Eldridge of Kinder, La., and Jennifer Kibodeaux of Kinder, La; two sisters, Mary Cole and husband Ardis of Oberlin, La. and Renea Manuel and husband Carl of Oberlin, La.; sixteen grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

    Rickie is preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Willis; and two brothers, Mike and Robbie Willis.
