Oakdale-Funeral services for Rickey Earl Cyiark, 59, will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale. Rev. Paul Holmes will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakdale Community Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will have a private viewing at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.

Rickey Earl Cyiark was born June 30, 1962 to Billie Jean Cyiark and Clyde Anthony in Pineville. He later moved to Oakdale where he met and married his wife, Shelitta Roddy Cyiark, on October 13, 2006. He was the father to two step-sons, Christian Roddy and Cameron Williams. Rickey was a very caring and happy person. He helped anyone who needed help, even animals. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Rickey's memory include his wife, Shelitta Roddy Cyiark of Oakdale; mother, Billie Jean Johnson of Oakdale; step-father, Porter Johnson of Oakdale; step-mother, Irma Anthony of Clarence, LA; two step-sons, Christian Roddy and Cameron Williams of Oakdale; three sisters, Evelyn Prosha of Oakdale, Stephanie Howard and Pamela Anthony of Dallas, TX; four brothers, Donald Cyiark of Houston ,TX, Edward Anthony of Deridder, Carol Rachel of Alexandria and Deonte Anthony of Clarence, LA; sister-in-laws, Dorothy Anthony of Oakdale, Sholanda Evans (Courtney) of Lake Charles, Shavonne Stagg (Justin) of Kinder, Jacqueline Sumbler of Mamou; one God-daughter, Latoya Terry of Alexandria; aunts, Helen Cyiark and Pauline Johnson; uncle, Alto Johnson, Sr.; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Rickey is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Anthony; and one brother, Kenneth Anthony.

Pallbearers honored to serve are: Christian Roddy, Shelvin Anthony, Patrick Richard, Phillip Hayward, Benjamaine Blount and Justin Stagg. Honorary pallbearers will be: Donald Cyiark, Edward Anthony, Cameron Williams, Porter Johnson, Alto Johnson, Sr., and Carol Rachel.
