Richard Keith "Slinky" Ryder, Sr. died at home on December 14, 2012,
after a battle of pancreatic cancer. Keith was born on April 13, 1956 to
the late Russel and Ruth Ryder. He worked all over the world and was a
master of many trades. He was last employed at C.M. Long for many
years.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, James Ryder
and wife Pat, Randy Ryder and wife Jen; two sons, Jason Ryder and
Richard "Rich" Ryder ; one granddaughter, Brinlee Ryder; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Roland
"Blackie" Ryder; and one son, Rosston Fontenot.
A Celebration of Life will be at 2pm on Friday, December 21, 2012,
at the home of Chad & Lee Ryder; address is 6012 Bayou Serpent.
Burial will be in Soileau, Louisiana at a later date.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Heart Hospice
for the patience to our family and the best care ever, to our father, brother, and
uncle.
