Kinder-Memorial services for Richard Todd "Boo" Fontenot, 58, will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. A private burial will be held on Saturday at Indian Village Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Friday, February 18, 2022 beginning at 4 p.m. with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 6 p.m. After the Rosary, the family would like to welcome anyone to speak about Boo.

Richard, affectionately known as "Boo", was a loving father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a lifelong resident of Kinder and a graduate of Kinder High School. During his high school years, he enjoyed playing football and running track. Boo also enjoyed cooking, playing pool and reading his Bible. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Boo will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Boo's memory include his two sons, Johnny Credeur and wife, Stacey, of Kinder and Gabrial Fontenot of Kinder; daughter, Kasha Fontenot and husband, Eric Perkins, of Kinder; brother, Gary Fontenot and partner, Philippe Edouard, of Petaluma, CA; two sisters, Sharon Fontenot of Sacramento, CA and Paula Fontenot of Kinder; five grandchildren, Madison Moreau, Trey Credeur, Blair Credeur, Avery Perkins and Teche Perkins; and two great grandchildren, Kynzleigh and Liam Morvant.

Boo is preceded in death by his parents, Wiltz and Myrtle Fontenot; and brother, Senia Fontenot.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that anyone who knew Boo could come and share their memories of him.
