A new star has been added to our galaxy: Those of our loved ones gone before us were rejoicing in the early AM of August 29, 2009 when Renee` was called to join them.
Renee` Susan LaFargue Welch, age 54, was born in Lake Charles, La. July 30, 1955 and died at 2AM August 29, 2009 in Tyler, Texas. A resident of Kinder until age 4, she was raised in Houston where she lived until she graduated. Married to Bruce E. Welch, September 29, 1973, lived, & raised her children in Whitehouse, TX.
Four children born to this marriage; Christopher E., Aaron A., Benjamin L., and Andrea R. Welch. Grandmother of eight; Cole & Brileigh Barnes, Karson, Avery, Brookelynn, Reiss, Eleana, & Roman Welch.
Renee` leaves to mourn her passing, mother, Norma G. Crawford; two sisters, Jane L. Lormand & husband Richard, & Becky L. Butts all of Kinder; three brothers, Eddy Bradford & wife Loni of Dayton, TX, Joe LaFargue & wife Enola of Kinder, & Donny Corkran & wife Lola of LaBlanc; stepmother, LouAnna LaFargue of Kinder; one niece, Maegan Lormand of Kinder; three nephews, Jacob Lormand of Kinder, Michael & Morgan Bradford of Dayton, TX; a host of aunts & cousins.
Preceded in death by her husband, Bruce E. Welch; father, Louis J. Lafargue; grandparents, Dempsey F. & Odell M. Garlington, Paul & Clarisse D. LaFargue.
A memorial service will be held at Whitehouse Kingdom Hall-Jehovah's Witnesses in Whitehouse, TX September 5, 2009.
Interment of the ashes of Renee` & Bruce will be interred in Green Oak Cemetery in Kinder at a later date.
