Kinder- Funeral Mass for Mr. Rene Bellon, 79, will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 11a.m. in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Father John Cunningham will officiate. Burial will be in Indian Village Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held Monday from 5pm-9pm with a vigil at 6:00pm and a rosary to follow. Visitation will continue Tuesday at 8a.m. until time of service.
Mr. Bellon was a resident of Kinder, retired from Dunham Price as a diesel mechanic & heavy equipment operator, a member of the Operators Local Union # 406.
Mr. Bellon was a loving husband, father, grandfather, & great grandfather. He was a kind, helpful & giving person to everyone who knew him. He loved to hunt, fish and play with his grandchildren. He passed away Saturday, August 25, 2007 in Kinder.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Marie Savant Bellon of Kinder; two daughters, Juanita Fruge & husband Michael of Kinder; Sherry Wilson of Lebleu Settlement; son, Joe Bellon & wife Jennifer of Lake Charles; brother, Harry Bellon of Daytona, FL; sister, Lillie Savant of Kinder; 16 grandchildren, Heather McDaniel, Jennifer Benoit, Beth Bellon, Brent Bellon, Alex Bellon, Amanda Bellon, Nick Bellon, Roman Bellon, Magi Bellon, Dakota Bellon, Benjamin Bellon, Cheyenne Bellon, Devin Dickerson, Kelly Wilson, Shawn Wilson, Zachery Wilson; 3 great grandchildren, Lindsey, Kaitlin & Shayli McDaniel.
Preceded in death by parents, Joe & Lucy Bellon; brother, Jimmy Bellon; sister, Hattie Ezell.
