Kinder-Funeral Services for Rena Mae Miller Gauthreaux, 49, will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Burial will follow at Carter Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, January 6, 2020 from 10 a.m. until time of service at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home.

Rena passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. She was a hard-worker, never letting her health get in the way. Rena was a caring person and would do anything for anyone. She married Murphy Keith Gauthreaux in May 2019 after being together for fifteen years. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, building things, making vinyl stickers and shirts and singing karaoke. Rena enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren; they were her pride and joy. Last, but not least, she enjoyed working at the Kinder Butcher Shop, where she worked for fifteen plus years doing any and everything even processing deer. Rena will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Rena's memory include her three sons, Michael Duplichan and fiancée, Lynda, of Lake Charles, and Shayne and Lane Marcantel of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Misty Duplichan and fiancé, Cory, of Denham Springs, and Ashley Duplichan of Baton Rouge; one brother, Todd Miller of Indian Village; one sister, Ruth Miller of AR; and nine grandchildren.

Rena is preceded in death by her parents, Dallas and Eula Miller; husband, Murphy Keith Gauthreaux; brother, Lloyd Miller; two sisters, Renee Lucas and a baby sister; and one granddaughter, Brinley Mae Lopez.
