Kinder- Memorial service for Mrs. Rena Mae Fontenot, 78, will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 2:00PM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Deacon John Eaves will officiate.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10AM with a rosary at 11AM.
Mrs. Fontenot was a resident of Kinder. She passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Berchman "Burk" Fontenot; one son, Gary Fontenot & wife Nelda of Kinder; one daughter, Marsha Fontenot of Kinder; daughter-in-law, Lisa Fontenot of Elton; one brother, Herman Deshotel & wife Doris of Kinder; one sister, Phyllis Pousson & husband Alvin of Kinder; four grandchildren, Rocky Fontenot, Kim Vidrine, Heather Manuel all of Kinder, & Laura Fontenot of Elton; two great grandchildren, Krislyn Manuel & Emily Vidrine.
She is preceded in death by two sons, Russell Keith Fontenot & Michael Lynn Fontenot; sister, Shirley Mae Fontenot; great grandson, Logan Vidrine.
