Elton-Funeral service for Rebecca L. Veillon, 54, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2019, in the chapel of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.  Rev.  Jose Vattakunnel will officiate.  Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton on Sunday evening from 3-9 p.m. with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.  Visitation will resume Monday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Rebecca was a loving wife, daughter, mother, mother-in-law, aunt, and grandmother.  She loved taking part in "farmer's market" and spending time with her nine grandchildren.  She was always there for her family no matter what.  She loved to be at home and loved playing with her dogs and pet pig.  Her memory will be cherished by all who loved and knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Veillon; her mother, Effie Manuel; four daughters, Jessica Nugent and husband, Travis, Sr., Amanda Richard and husband, Justin, Tanya LeJeune, and Sr. Bernadette (Danielle) Veillon; one brother, William (Billy) Manuel, Jr; two sisters, Mitzie Arnaud and husband, Larry, and Tammy Young, and husband, Gary; nine grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her father, William (Buddy) Manuel, Sr. and her first husband, James Keith Young.
