Elton-A celebration of life service for David Vidrine, 63, will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 10 o'clock a.m. at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Rev. Bro. Don Duplechian will officiate. David will be laid to rest at Liberty Cemetery in Elton immediately following his services.
David's family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton on Friday, September 8, 2023, from 5-9 o'clock p.m. Visitation will resume at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton on Saturday morning September 9, 2023, from 8 o'clock a.m. until time of service. All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
David was a loving and affectionate husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a devoted husband to his wife Tammy for 45 years. David was an avid outdoorsman who absolutely loved to hunt and fish. He was also a self-taught guitar player and loved to sit and pick on his guitar. David loved and adored his family, especially his grandchildren. He cherished every moment he spent with his family and loved to see his family happy. David was a man of strong faith and a very proud Christian. He loved to read his bible and was very educated in bible scripture. He would often share bible scriptures with family and friends to try and help them with anything they were going through. David was a loving and caring person who was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. David will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish David's memory include his wife, Tammy Laura Vidrine of Elton; one son, Jonathan "Jonny" Vidrine and girlfriend Brandy Cole of Elton; one daughter, Laura "Darlin" Duplechian and husband Chris of Elton; one brother, Michael Vidrine and companion Shirley of Elton; four grandchildren, Ryan Beyeaux of Jennings, Izzabelle Vidrine, Kellan and Karley Duplechian all of Elton; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Lee Vidrine and Jeanette Rider; one brother, Douglas G. Vidrine; and one sister, Janet R. Vidrine.
