Oakdale-Graveside services honoring Raymond Blake Peters, 54, will be held on Friday morning, August 21, 2026, at 10 o'clock a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery in Glenmora, LA. Rev. Neal Tremme will officiate. All of Blake's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale.

    Blake was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to all. He was an avid outdoorsman where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Blake was very talented with his hands and was a very skilled knife maker. He loved cooking and having meals with his family. He loved spending time with his family and cherished every memory he made with them especially his dog Rosie who was his baby. He was a giver and would help anyone in need. Blake leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness to all who knew him and will be forever missed and unconditionally loved.

    Those left to cherish Blake's memory include his parents, Willie Raymond and Linda Strother Peters; two twin sisters, Lana Peters, and Lisa Peters Brady and husband Slade; one niece, Marina Sumpter and husband Nathanael, two nephews, Brett and Shay Atkinson, three great nieces, Abigail, Sophia, and Lily; and a host of extended family members and friends.

    Blake is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Willie L. and Inez Peters, and maternal grandparents, Cecil and Hazel Strother.
