Oberlin-A Mass of Christian Burial for Ralph Andrew Knauf, Jr., 57, will be held at 12 noon on Friday, September 6, 2019 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Rev. Jacob Connor will officiate. Burial will follow at Oaklin Springs Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oberlin from 10:30 a.m. until time of service on Friday, September 6, 2019.

Ralph was a loving husband, brother and uncle. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Terry, for nine years. He was the business owner of Affordable Furniture in Oberlin for many years. Ralph never hesitated to help anyone in need. He was loyal, honest, loving and caring. He was a family man and cherished every moment he spent with them. Ralph fought cancer with every part of his being until the final moments of his life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Ralph's memory include his wife, Terry Knauf of Oberlin; three brothers, Robert Knauf and wife, Donna, of League City, TX, James Knauf of Sulphur, and Christopher Knauf of Maurice; one sister, Sharon Harrell of Maurice; one nephew, James Harrell; three nieces, Robyn Schoonover, Jessica Sellars and Adrienne Harrell; sister-in-law, Paula Knauf; six great nieces and nephews; and three dogs, Goldie, Cocoa and Willie.

Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Knauf, Sr. and Loretta Cleveland; and one brother, Joseph Knauf.
