Elton-Celebration of Life services honoring Raleigh LeJeune, 73, will be held at 11 o'clock a.m. on Wednesday morning, February 26, 2025, at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Rev. Alfred Gibson will officiate. Raleigh's family will host inurnment services at St. Peter's Cemetery in Elton at a future date.
Raleigh's family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton on Tuesday evening, February 25, 2025, from 4-9 o'clock p.m. with a singing service by Bro. John Cernek and the Indian Bible Church Choir beginning at 6 o'clock p.m. Raleigh's visitation will resume at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton on Wednesday morning, February 26, 2025, from 8 o'clock a.m. until time of service. All of Raleigh's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
Raleigh was a loving father and grandfather. He worked very hard to provide for his family. Raleigh was a member of the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana. He enjoyed the outdoors including hunting and fishing.
Those left to cherish Raleigh's memory include three sons, Nathaniel Paul LeJeune of Elton, LA, Justin Owen LeJeune and Jason Otis LeJeune both of Nacogdoches, TX, three daughters, Sabrina Maria LeJeune of Elton, LA, Sherina Lynn LeJeune of Nacogdoches, TX, and Catrina LeAnn LeJeune of Oberlin, LA; one sister, Caroleen Fore of Nacogdoches, TX; four grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Raleigh is preceded in death by his parents Jimmy and Rena LeJeune; one brother, Ottis Thompson, and two sisters, Mildred Ardoin and Bernadine LeJeune.
