Oberlin-Funeral Services for Quinton McCullough Berry, 56, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Progressive Church of God in Christ in Oberlin. Rev. Dallas Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Progressive Church of God in Christ on Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Quinton McCullough Berry was born on October 17, 1964 in Louisiana to

Shirley Berry. At six months old he was taken to Chicago, IL and raised by his uncle and aunt, Thompson Berry, Jr. and Bertha Berry. He later returned to Oberlin, LA and attended grammar school and graduated from Oberlin High School where he loved playing football and basketball. He attended L.S.U. in Lafayette, LA. Quinton enjoyed fishing, hunting, sports and cooking.

He was a loving brother, father and uncle. He accepted GOD in his life.

GOD called Quint home on May 18, 2021. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Quint's precious memory include his daughter, Nadia Berry; two sons, Terron (TJ) and Aaron; two sisters, Bobby Berry Hill and Debra Skinner (Pat); two brothers, Ervin (Sabrina) and Victor Guillory (Stacy); aunt, Belma J. Berry; uncles, Elvin and Bradley Berry; nieces, Tyaka, Tetchjan, Tiana, Tasha, Crystal, Shameda, Jasmin, Zulekha, Dominique, Victoria; and nephews, Jessie, Victor, Jr., Billy, and Derrick.

Quint is preceded in death by his parents, Shirley, Bertha and Thompson Berry, Jr.
