Kinder-Funeral service for Priscilla Ruth Marcenac, 86, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016 in the chapel of Ardoin Funeral Home. Rev. Theron Watson will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. until time of service.
Priscilla was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, especially Sunday dinner for her family. She loved to crochet and especially enjoyed crocheting with the ladies at church. She also loved shopping and she always made her children's clothing when they were growing up. Priscilla loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Priscilla's memory include her two daughters, Christine Witherwax and husband, Roger, and Peggy Ramirez, all of Lake Charles; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Priscilla is preceded in death by her parents, Gus and Lovenia Fontenot; her husband, Irvin Marcenac; and one daughter, Cindy Rougeou.
