Elton-Funeral service for Pearl Tupper, 91, will be held at 2pm on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel of Elton. Rev. M.G. Davis will officiate and burial will follow in China Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
The family will receive visitors beginning Friday, March 8, 2013 at 5pm with a continuous service until time of funeral.
Pearl was a member of her church and was a youth leader and a loyal bible school teacher. She was
also very active in her church and was a "Prayer Warrior". She was a devoted wife of 69 years and loved Cajun Cooking and was also a loving Mom and grandmother.
Survivors include her two sons; Jimmie Tupper and wife Gertie of Elton, Emery Tupper and wife Juanita
of Kinder; and three daughters, Grace Esters and husband Glenn of Elton, Helen Faye Abshire and husband Newton of Elton, Jane Stephens and husband George of Elton; two brothers, Paul Comeaux and Betty of Cheneyville, LA, Jim Comeaux of Walker, LA; and one sister, Alice Roman of Livonia, LA; and 29 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 20 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lucia and
Felecian Comeaux; her husband, Walter Tupper; her grandson, Billy Dwayne Tupper; and her great granddaughter, Stephanie Dawn Smith.
