Kinder-Paul “Smiley” Andrew Reilly, 65, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Paul’s family will host private memorial and inurnment services in his memory at a future date. All of Paul’s arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.

Paul was born on Thursday, May 25, 1961 in Gary, Indiana, Indiana to the union of Patrick Reilly and Jonah Stuhlmacher. In high school he won state in Baseball and Football. He really enjoyed watching sports. Paul was a beloved son, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend. Friends knew him as “Smiley”. He made genuine relationships with everyone he met, even in passing, offering assistance and making them feel welcome.

Paul was considered a “Jack of all Trades” if he could put his hands on it, he could build it or fix it. He was a simple man who preferred to live a simple life, he was always outside maintaining his yard, equipment, and buildings. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his soul rest in peace.

Those left to cherish Paul’s memory include his parents, Pat and Jonah Reilly; his daughter, Kristina Franz; two brothers, Bill and Tom Reilly; three sisters, Jana Weidler, Carol Levy, and Karen Lynn; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Paul is preceded in death by his brother, Steve Reilly.
