Kinder-Funeral service for Paul Albert Richey, Jr., age 71, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2015 in the chapel of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Alfred Gibson will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 2-9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Paul was a devoted father and grandfather. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He was also a great cook. He worked hard to provide for his family over the years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his four sons, Paul Richey III of Welsh, Wayne Richey, Kevin Richey and Joseph Richey and wife, Lacy, all of Elton; three sisters, Wauneta Halfin of Dickerson, TX, Alberta Christian and husband, James, of Conroe, TX, and Coeta Conklin and husband, John, of Houston, TX; 9 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Gertrude Richey.
