Elton-Funeral service for Paul Steven Langley, 57, will be held at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 2 p.m. Rev. John Cernek will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton beginning Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 4-9 p.m. Singing will begin at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Paul was a loving father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed cooking, hunting and fishing. He also liked to work on vehicles. He was a very unique person. Paul was a lifelong resident of Elton. He was a member of the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana and was very proud of his Native American Culture. Paul will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Paul's memory include one son, Lucas Langley and wife, Jessica, of Mamou; one daughter, Stevi Langley of Mamou; three sisters, Evelyn Alfaro and husband, Raul, Rose Medford, and Trudy Langley and husband, Roderick Guillet, all of Elton; and eight grandchildren.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Lorena Langley; two brothers, Joe Langley and Ronald Langley; one sister, Marilyn Langley, and one granddaughter, Selby Breaux.
