Kinder-Funeral service for Patsy Jean Duplichan, 63, will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Alfred Gibson will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home from 4-10 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Patsy was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a great cook. Patsy enjoyed drinking beer in the evenings and gambling. She bought anything that was "As seen on TV". She was a hard worker. She drove a gravel truck most of her life. Patsy liked hunting, fishing, and camping. She enjoyed cook outs and spending time with her family and friends. Patsy always enjoyed a good cup of coffee. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Patsy's memory include her husband, Larry Duplichan of Ragley; three sons, Terry Chapman II of Lake Charles, Darrell Chapman and wife, Ashley, of Sulphur, Tony Chapman and wife, Pamela, of Moss Bluff; one daughter, Tina Fuselier and husband, Ronald, of Sulphur; one brother, Raymond Currier of Dedham, Maine; fourteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Leon Currier and Bernice Hall; one sister, Beverly Bertrand; and one grandchild, Trey Larue.
