Kinder-Funeral Services for Patrick Clyde Guidry, Sr., 61, will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. The family has arranged for cremation following the funeral service. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 11 a.m. until time of service.

Patrick was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend to all. His all-time favorite thing to do was watch football; especially the LSU Tigers and Saints, and cook. His grandsons said he made the best barbecue, gumbo and jambalaya. Every evening he loved to relax and drink a six pack of natural light. Most importantly, Patrick loved to spend time with his family and friends. Patrick will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Patrick's memory include his son, Patrick Guidry, Jr., of Crowley; two daughters, Morgan Leger and husband, Joshua, of Iota and Christina Broussard of Cleveland, TN; ten siblings, Gloria Torres, Shirley Herron, Lois Bergeron, Lloyd, Donald, Cloyd, Daniel, Darrell, Dannie and Michael Guidry; eleven grandchildren, Brisummer LeJeune, Brooklyn LeJeune, Terrell Guidry, Camalee Leger, Patrick Clyde Guidry, III, Zachary Leger, Rosalee Leger, Brently Leger, Taylor Guidry, Gabriel Guidry and Samuel Guidry; and one very special friend, Stephanie Fontenot.

Patrick is preceded in death by his parents, Romain and Marie Guidry; and six siblings, Georgia Grey, Melba Blanchard, John, Robert, Betty and Alice Guidry.
