ELTON-Funeral service for Pat Bruchhaus, 78, will be held Monday, September 16, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Rev. Steve Bellard will officiate. Burial will follow in China Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
The family will receive visitors Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton, between the hours of 4-9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Pat was a lifelong resident of Elton. She was a 1953 graduate of Basile High School, devoted wife of more than 58 years, loving Mother and Grandmother. She was active in the Methodist Church and scouting for many years. She was a great cook and known for her famous fried chicken.
Survivors include her devoted husband, Harley of Elton and 3 sons; Charles and Deborah of Elton, Kurt and Cindy of Lake Charles, Brett and Bridgett of Elton; and one daughter, Uvonne Domingue and Leo of Jennings.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents W.R. and Emma Peterson, and her sister Brenda Weldon.
