Pamela was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a devoted wife to her husband, James, for thirty-six years. Her daughter Kacie, and her grandson Cameron, were the light of her life. She was a huge Elvis fan and loved all of his music. She loved to shop, loved jewelry and was a huge fan of glazed doughnuts. Pamela was kind-spirited and loved everyone. She enjoyed staying busy, from working in her yard growing flowers, to planning trips and traveling with her daughter. Pamela was a hard worker and was devoted to her job as a United States Postal carrier. She loved animals, especially her dog, Buddy. She will be greatly missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Pamela's memory include her parents, Vance and Eloise Whittington; husband, James W. Hennigan of Longville; daughter, Kacie Carlson and husband, Brady, of Deridder; two brothers, Michael Whittington and Vincent Whittington both of Deridder; sister, Angie Heath and husband, Glen, of McKinney, TX; and one grandson, Cameron Carlson.
On Pamela's behalf, James and Kacie would like to personally thank doctors, Kelly Manahan and John Geisler with M.G. Wellness. "We cherish you and hope that God will bless you in your endeavors to help others the way you helped our wife and mother." The family would also like to extend a special thanks to Cancer Treatment Centers of America and their staff, Amedysis Hospice and RN, Ginger for all their help, love, and compassion through this difficult time. Also, last but not least, thank you to the ACTS ladies at St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Amerisafe of Deridder for all the meals, prayers, and fundraising for us and our family. Sincere thanks to all of your kind, selfless deeds at this time.
