Kinder-Graveside Services for Oma Nell Carpenter Manuel, "Cat", 85, will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Green Oak Cemetery. Rev. Don Barrett will officiate. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

Oma Nell Carpenter Manuel, "Cat" went to be with the Lord on September 1 ^st in Kinder. She was born in Kinder on April 6, 1935 to Ralph T and Mary Eliza Fontenot Carpenter. She was a 1953 graduate of Oberlin High School. After graduation, she went to work as an office clerk for the Oberlin Nursery. She retired from the Department of Agriculture and Forestry in 1995. Oma was a member of Kinder Bible Church. She loved fellowshipping with family, friends and neighbors. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Oma's memory include her two daughters, Trudi Guillory and husband Tony, and Tammy Jeanise and husband Joey; one sister, Barbara Sue Fontenot and husband, Nolton; three granddaughters, Kama Guillory, Shanda Guillory Rowzee and Kimberly Marcantel; one grandson, Chase Marcantel; one great granddaughter, Avery Rowzee; three nephews; three nieces and many close friends.

Oma was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Manuel; parents, Ralph T and Mary Eliza Carpenter; one sister, Bonnie Willis; two nephews, Mike and Robbie Willis; and in-laws, Cephus and Ida Manuel.
