Norris Ray "Zues" Courville

Kinder- Funeral service for Mr. Norris Ray "Zues" Courville, 73, will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 2 PM in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Kinder. Father Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery in Elton.

Visitation will be held in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder Monday from 10 AM to 9 PM, with a wake service at 6:30 followed by a Rosary, and will continue on Tuesday from 8 AM till time of service.

Norris entered into eternal peace on December 19th, 2009 in the Kinder Hospital, with his family by his side.

After serving his country in the United States Air Force, he returned home to start his family, and his life of cooking. He worked most of his life for Doumite & Son Bulk Fuel, in Kinder, after leaving there and journeying on, he finally had his love, "Norris' Diner", where he started the "Zues Burger", which still carries on at the Cajun Restaurant.

He is survived by his loving wife, Calvelene Courville; four daughters, Dana Courville (Arden), Becky Sonnier (Bill), Missy Allemand (Bobby), and Rachal Fontenot (Brain) three step-sons, Colton "Butch" Courville, Dennis Courville and Allen Courville; one brother, Morris "Mojo" Courville; one sister, Jean Courville, and fifteen grandchildren, Toni, Teri, Jimmy, Kandace, Carley, Jarret, Layni, Nick, Katelyn, Hailey, Kyla, Chaz, Chad, Tonya, and Kameron; eight great grandchildren, Foster, Lincoln, Andie, Darrin, Abby, Lucas, Nahla, and Laila.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elaine Fuselier Courville, mother and father Edna and Frank Courville, brothers, Walden, Edwin, Earl, Leroy, Wilfred "Banun", Julius, Colton, and one sister Corrine Miller.
