Kinder- Funeral service for Mr. Norman L. Baker, 80, will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at 10:00a.m. in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. George L. Glass & Rev. Jimmy Glass will officiate. Burial will follow in Indian Village Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5pm-9pm and will continue Wednesday at 8am until time of service.
Mr. Baker was a native of Kinder and a resident of DeQuincy. He enjoyed his family and loved to squirrel hunt. Mr. Baker passed away Sunday, August 30, 2009.
Survivors include one brother, J.C. Baker & wife JoAnn of Paragould, Arkansas; two sisters, Doris Baker Williams & husband Harold Dean of DeRidder & Lois Baker Smith & husband Charles of Sulphur; a host of nieces & nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Preston Baker & Dicie Hampton Baker & brother, Armon L. Baker.
