Dry Creek-Graveside services for Norbert Lee Broussard, Sr., 68, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Dry Creek Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

Norbert was born into a large and loving family on his dad's birthday. He was a graduate of East Beauregard High School. Norbert loved baseball especially when he was being coached by his big brother KB. He loved to cook and loved large family gatherings. His occupation was a boilermaker and pipefitter. He was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish Norbert's memory include his wife, Faye Boudreaux Broussard of Mittie ;three sons, Chaston Chaney of Deridder, Lee Broussard (Brittany) of Deridder and Joshua Broussard (Elicia) of Lake Charles; three brothers, Kenneth Broussard (Juanita) of  Montgomery, TX, Isaac "Butch" Broussard (Diane) of Carencro and John Broussard; sister Beverly Broussard Walet (Sonny) of New Iberia; eight grandchildren, Logan Felty, Kobey Broussard, Bella Broussard, Sofia Broussard, Kolby Sanders, Leighton Chaney, Kennedy Chaney and Claire Chaney; three great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Norbert is preceded in death by his parents, Issac and Georgia Vice Broussard; son, Jonathan Boudreaux; sister, Georgette Broussard Vercher; sister-in-law, Carol Broussard; and niece/Godchild, Kay Broussard Harwell.
