Kinder- Funeral service for Mrs. Noralee B. Langley, 66, will be held Monday, May 4, 2009 at 2p.m. in New Testament Temple Church. Rev. Greg Crawford will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery under the direction the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held Sunday in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder from 5pm-10pm with a singing service at 7pm. Visitation will continue Monday at 8am until time of service.
Mrs. Langley was a resident of Kinder. She was co-founder of New Testament Temple Church along with her late husband Rev. Quincy Langley. Mrs. Langley passed away on the anniversary of her late husbands death date in the year 2000. Her involvement in the church included Sunday School Teacher, song leader, & ministering. She became pastor after her husband's death. She also enjoyed traveling & basket weaving. She was a devoted wife, mother, and an inspiration to all that knew her. Her family & friends that she loved will dearly miss her. Mrs. Langley passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009.
Survivors include one son, Barry Langley of Kinder; three daughters, Regina Buffalohead, Marlene Fontenot & husband John, Leah Harjo & husband Chris all of Kinder; one brother, Arnold Battise & wife JoAnn of Livingston, TX; three sisters, Betty Thompson & husband Ben of Livingston, TX, Linda Small & husband Wayne of Woodlands, TX, Grace Poncho & husband Sidney of Livingston, TX; 4 grandchildren, Thunder, Jennifer, Hawk, & Hailey.
Preceded in death by her husband Quincy Langley; parents, Woodrow & Eleanor Battise; brother, Brooks Battise.
