Elton-Memorial Services celebrating the life of Nicholas Charles Pousson, 70, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Elton. Cremation has been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Elton on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 4-10 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Nicholas Pousson was born and raised in Ritche, LA. He was a graduate from Notre Dame. He enjoyed motorcycles, football, hunting, camping, fishing, cooking and his greatest love of all for his family and grandchildren. Nicky loved the Lord and enjoyed his church family. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Elton. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Nicholas' memory include his wife, Glenda Pousson; one son, Russell Pousson of CO; one step-son, Joseph Waggoner and wife, Christina, of Orange, TX; two step-daughters, Kim Taylor and husband, Terrell, of Oberlin and Karen Fontenot and husband, Michael, of Basile; five brothers, Allen Pousson of Jennings, Lyndon Pousson and wife, Brenda, of Reserve, Richard Pousson of Jennings, Daniel Pousson and wife, Karin, of FL and Edward Pousson and wife, Lai Kheng of Singopore; two sisters, Mary Ann Pousson Thibodeaux and husband, Allen and Stella Duhon Pousson of Crowley; ten step-grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren; as well as, a host of nieces and nephews.

Nicholas is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Edna Brown Pousson; and two brothers, Andrew Pousson, Jr., and David Pousson and wife, Carolyn Sattler Pousson.
