Kinder-Funeral service will be held for Nettie Mae Robertson, age 82, on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 2pm in St. Paul Catholic Church of Elton. Rev. Msgr. Charles J. Dubois will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held beginning on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder from 3-9pm with a rosary being recited at 6pm. On Wednesday, the visitation will be relocated to Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton from 9am until the time of service.
Nettie was born in Elton, but currently resided in Lake Charles. She was active in her church, attended retreats, and enjoyed traveling and going to yard sales. She loved to read and work in her flowerbeds. She also adored, Mitzi, her family pet. She was a loving mother and grandmother who worked hard to support her family-always putting others before herself. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Nettie is survived by her husband, Howard Robertson of Lake Charles; two sons, Daniel Langley and wife, Cathy of Lake Charles
and Bruce Langley and wife, Carol of Moss Bluff; three daughters, Phyllis Doise and husband, Danny of Lafayette, Deborah Duplichan and husband, Reggie of Kinder, and Karen Noe of Jennings; 17 grandchildren; and 31 great grandchildren.
Nettie is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Prosper Doise; her first husband, Julian Langley; and, her son, Randy Langley.
