Kinder-Memorial services celebrating the life of Nelda John, 77, will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. John White, Jr. will officiate. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Nelda was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She loved fishing, shopping, planting flowers, cooking, and visiting. Nelda will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Nelda's memory include her daughter, Sheila Richard; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Nelda is preceded in death by her father, Edmond John; daughter, Charlene Cramer; brother, Woodrow John; sister, Claire Lonider; and two grandchildren, Derrick Griffin and Dusiree Cramer.
