Oakdale-Funeral services for Nancy Parker Phillips, 84, will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale, 311 Hwy 1152, Oakdale, LA 71463. Roger Creel and Johnny Eskew will officiate. Nancy will be laid to rest at Greenwood Memorials Cemetery, 2202 Military Highway, Pineville, LA 71360, under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 11 a.m. until time of service.

Nancy was born in Oakdale, Louisiana. She lived in Alexandria, Pineville and Dry Prong with her late husband, Dr. Robert Bruce Phillips who preceded her in death on September 11, 2012. To know Nancy was to love her. She lived for her grandchildren, Tucker Lienhop and Taylor Lienhop Koch. She was a member of The Pentecostals of Alexandria. Nancy loved any and all sports, especially the LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs. She also had a special love for her pets, especially Molly Ann and Jaz. Nancy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Nancy's memory are her step-children:

Mary Denise Phillips of Dry Prong and Teresa Phillips Lienhop and her husband, Dr. Terry Lienhop of Kansas City, MO; two grandchildren, Dr. Tucker Lienhop (Kristen) and Taylor Lienhop Koch (Matthew) of Kansas City, MO; and great grandchildren: Madeline and Henry Koch, Evan, Sophie, and Asher Lienhop, Noah, Eli, and Avery Jolly all of Kansas City, MO.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Johnnie Parker; and husband, Dr. Robert Bruce Phillips.

The family would like to offer special thanks to Compassionate Hospice of Alexandria for their professional care, especially Anna Brodhead. Words are inadequate to express our gratitude to JoLynn McConley, her cousin, who was her loving caregiver and constant source of strength throughout her life and death.
