Oberlin- Funeral mass for Nakia "Nick" Ware, 31, will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at 2:00p.m. in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Deacon Norris Chapman will officiate. Burial will be in Durio Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be Monday from 11a.m. in New Beginnings Assembly of God Church in Oberlin with a scripture reading at 6:30p.m. and a rosary at 7p.m. The church will remain open all night.
Nick was a resident of Oberlin and a member of the IBEW Electrician Union. He died Sunday, October 8, 2006 in Oberlin.
Survivors include his mother, Aline Carrier of Oberlin; maternal grandmother, Rosa Belle Carrier of Oberlin; paternal grandparents, Elathey Sr. & Carrie Ware of Mamou.
Preceded in death by father, Elathey Ware Jr.
