Ragley-Myrtis Gilley Gill Gatte, 93, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Lake Charles, La. Her funeral service will be held at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 2pm. Rev. Robert Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in LeBlanc Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from
4-9pm at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder and will continue Wednesday, March 14, 2012 from 8 am until the time of service.
Myrtis is survived by two sons, Rodger Gill and wife, Peggy, of Shreveport and Gary Gill of Reeves; one daughter, Mary Elaine Morein of Ragley; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, Zane Scott Kelly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Gilley; husband, Osborn Gill; one son, James Edward Gill and one daughter, Glenda Carroll Watkins; and four grandchildren, Eugene (Pooky) Kelly, Lori,
Denise, and Dennis Watkins.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her children were her greatest love. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
