Elton – Celebration of Life services honoring Miranda Gayle Guillory, 61, will be held at 2 o'clock p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Elton. Rev. Bro. Freddy Jack will officiate. Miranda will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery in Elton immediately following her services.

Miranda's family will receive friends and visitors at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Elton on Saturday morning, September 13, 2025, from 11 o'clock a.m. until time of service. All of Miranda's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Elton.

Miranda was a woman whose kind and gentle spirit touched everyone she met. Born on Christmas Day in 1963, she was truly a gift to her family and friends. Known for her sweetness, her sense of humor, and her strength, she lived her life with love, courage, and devotion.  Gentle by nature but feisty when needed, she carried herself with grace, humor, and determination. She adored her family with all her heart, treasured the sweetness of life (a good, sweet treat), and showed an incredible will to fight and persevere. She passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength and devotion. Her love for life and her family will forever be remembered and cherished.

Those left to cherish Miranda's memory are her beloved son, Cody Guillory; her cherished daughter-in-law, Katherine Guillory and her precious granddaughter, Arabella Guillory, who brought her endless joy. She also leaves behind her loving siblings: Grace Watts, Lucille Neil, Diane Woods, and Curtis (Barbara) Lemoine.  She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She now joins in eternal rest her devoted husband, Elliot "Patrick" Guillory; her parents, Clarence and Odessa Lemoine; and her siblings Lymon Lemoine, Rosemary Hollingshead, Mildred Broxston, MacArthur Lemoine, and Clarence Lemoine, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the American Stroke Association.
