Elton- Funeral Mass for Mrs. Mildred "Toot" Toot" Thomas, 80, will be held Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elton. Father Maxwell Okolie will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
Visitation will be held Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church from 8am until time of service with a rosary at 10a.m.
Mrs. Thomas was a resident of Elton, member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elton. She passed away Sunday, January 25, 2009.
Survivors include one son, Hubert "Sonny" Thomas & wife Maxie of Elton; one daughter, Loretta Marks of Lake Charles; 6 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Bervick Thomas; son Herbert Thomas; parents, Bud & Eva Ardoin.
