Kinder- Funeral Mass for Mrs. Mildred Elizabeth Keys, 98, will be held Friday, August 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Father Cunningham will officiate. Burial will follow in Kinder McRill Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held in the funeral home Thursday from 5p.m.-9p.m. with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. and will continue Friday at 8a.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Keys was a native of Pine Prairie, and was a resident of Kinder most of life. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and a former member of the Ladies Altar Society. Mrs. Keys passed away Thursday, August 7, 2008 in a local care facility.
Survivors include her son, Lowell Keys & wife Carolyn of Kinder; grandchild, Elizabeth Keys of Baton Rouge; numerous nieces & nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Oswin Keys; four brothers, Clarence Ardoin, Cliff Ardoin, Howard Ardoin, & Sam Ardoin; three sisters, Vergie Fontenot, Leona Simmons, & Marjorie Viscaris.
