Kinder-Celebration of Life services honoring Mikailen "Mik" McCrea, 32, will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 2 o'clock p.m. at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Bro. Janson Poncho will officiate. Mik will be laid to rest at St. Peter's Cemetery in Elton immediately following his services.

Mik's family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Wednesday evening, September 17, 2025, from 4-9 o'clock p.m. Mik's visitation will resume at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Thursday morning, September 18, 2025, from 8 o'clock a.m. until time of service. All of Mik's arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.

Above all, Mik loved being a dad to Meelah. She was the joy of his life and his partner in crime. Mik was the life of every party, lighting up every room he walked in with his contagious smile and laugh. Some of his favorite past times were gaming, golfing, fishing, cooking, and partaking in all LSU games, he was a proud season pass holder as well.  Mik was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. Mik was a proud member of the Turkey Clan of Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana.

Those left to cherish Mik's memory include his beloved daughter, Meelah Ashe Guynes McCrea; mother, Rebecca Wilson Knight; grandmother, Myrna Wilson; three brothers, Skylar Wilson, Joey McCrea, and Jakobe Veazie; two sisters, Allison McCrea and Kiara Veazie; twelve nieces and nephews, Audi, Aston, and Itali McCrea, Jarredyn, Jaysten, and Aleah Duhon, Maknaza, Markeil, and Makenzlee Riley, and Lyric, Auron, and Onyx Wilson.

Mik is preceded in death by his grandfather, Wilfred Wilson.

Mik's family will host fellowship at the Gym located on the Coushatta reservation immediately following his graveside service.
