Funeral service for Michael Todd Wright, 47, will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at St. Paul Catholic Church of Elton. Fr. Marshall Boulet will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 10am-9pm at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton and will continue on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 8am until time of service.
Michael enjoyed fishing in Galveston as a hobby, but his passion was drag racing! He also enjoyed cooking and grilling, watching cooking shows, daytime television and game shows. He loved his pet cat, Jag. Michael was a very hard worker and was often joked with as being a "workaholic". He treated his work as a hobby and enjoyed it immensely. He loved his co-workers and was given the nickname "Beetlejuice" by them. He loved and enjoyed life and being surrounded by people. He was quite a prankster, as well! Michael will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him over the years.
Michael leaves to honor his memory his mother, Tina (Tennie) Davies of Lake Charles; his father, Cliff Wright of Porter, Texas; and, one sister, Tammy Wright of Lake Charles.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifton and Marie Wright and Edna and Anthony Ortego
