Elton-Funeral Service for Maude Marie Manuel, 74, will be held Wednesday,
November 3, 2010 at 11:00AM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Father
Marshall Boulet will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery in Elton.
Visitation will be held Wednesday in Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton
from 9:00AM until time of service.
Maude was a lifetime resident of Elton. She attended St. Paul
Catholic Church of Elton and was a member of St. Paul Ladies Altar Society.
Maude held membership in the Teacher's Association, as well. She was a retired
Jeff Davis Parish teacher and was a reading specialist in the schools of Elton.
Maude was a loving mom and grandmother. She was very dedicated
and devoted to her work and had a great love for teaching.
She is survived by her daughter, Eva Marie Gidlow of Lake Charles, La.;
her sister, Betty Roten and husband, George of Irving, Tx.; and one
grandchild, Joshua Jake Gidlow.
Maude is preceded in death by her father, Jake W. Manuel and her mother,
Elina LeBlanc.
