Kinder- Funeral service for Matthew Cole Stroder, 17, will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 2 pm in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Pastor Alfred Gibson of LeBlanc Pentecostal Church will officiate. Burial will be in Reed Cemetery in Basile off of Hwy 27.
Visitation will begin on Monday from 12 to 9 pm, and will continue on Tuesday from 8am till time of service.
Matthew was a resident of Kinder. He died on Saturday in Kinder. Matthew was involved with motor cross since he was 2 years old and was the motor cross state champion for 5 years. He also enjoyed skateboarding, fishing and camping.
He is survived by his parents, Laura Fuselier of Kinder, and Ricky Stroder of Basile; one brother, Ryan Scott Stroder of Kinder; his grandparents, George and Celeste Stroder of Basile, Pauline Jackson of Houston, TX and Garrett Fuselier of Singer; and his great grandmother Ella Rose Fuselier of Eunice.
