Mildred was a loving sister, aunt, godmother and friend to many. She was a lifelong member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Mildred enjoyed cooking and could make the best sweets. She also enjoyed canning figs, pears, raising chickens and gardening. She spent a lot of time in personal prayer and reflection with her Savior. Mildred loved spending quality time with her family any chance she had. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Mildred's memory include her brother, Joseph Octave Harmon of Oberlin; two sisters, Esther Harmon of Oberlin and Octavia Harmon Reeves and husband, Saul Jr., of Oberlin; as well as, a host of nieces, nephews and godchildren; and one sister-in-law, Semonia Harmon.
Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Edith Harmon; six brothers, Amaron, Thomas Jr., Alcide, Alcin, Alfred and Wilfred Harmon; and three sisters, Hazel Mae Harmon, Edither Mae Harmon and Helen Harmon Johnson.
The family would like to say a special thanks to St. Francis Nursing Home and Brighten Bridge Hospice for all of their love, care and compassion shown.
