Elton- Funeral service for Mason Blake Ortego, 19, will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at 3p.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church in Elton. Father Marshall Boulet will officiate. Burial will be in Sonnier Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
Visitation will be Monday from 4pm-10pm with a rosary at 7pm and will continue Tuesday at 8am until time of service in the funeral home.
Mason was a resident of Elton and a 2006 graduate of Elton High School. He died Sunday, December 3, 2006 in his residence.
Survivors include his mother, Angela Ortego Earle of Elton; father, Randall James Ortego & wife Roxy of Elton; brother, Spencer Ortego of Elton; sister, Shara Ortego of Elton; step-sister, Richland Vidrine of Basile; step-brother, Blaise Vidrine of Basile; maternal grandmother, Lydia Briscoe of Elton; paternal grandparents, Donald & Jewel Ortego of Elton; paternal great grandmother, Violet Young of Basile.
Preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Isaac Briscoe.
