Kinder-Funeral service for Mary Lane Ryan, 93, will be held at 10 A.M. on Friday, September 19, 2014 in the chapel of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Jerry Long will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 3-9 P.M. Visitation will resume on Friday morning from 8 A.M. until time of service.
Mary was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She worked hard over the years to provide for her family. Mary loved cooking, especially for her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Joseph Fontenot; one daughter, Barbara Ardoin; two brothers, J.C. Langley and Eli LaFleur; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Lidia Langley; her 1st husband, Gilbert Fontenot; her 2nd husband, Bud Ryan; one daughter, Martha Fontenot Lingner Buller; six brothers, Jack, Morgan, Monrow, and Andrew Langley, Johnny LaFleur, and Bennie Langley; and three sisters, Elizabeth Stanley, Sybil George, and Mae Gray.
