Kinder- Funeral service for Mary Ellen Nevils Williams, 80, will be held Saturday, March 14, 2008 at 10 AM, in Green Oak Bible Church. Rev. Jerry C. Long will officiate. Burial will be in Kinder McRill Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.

Visitation will be held Friday in the church from 3 to 9 PM and will continue on Saturday from 8 AM till time of service.

Mrs. Williams was a resident of Kinder. She died on Wednesday in Lake Charles. She loved to sing in the choir, to cook, and to collect cookbooks. She was a caregiver and a homemaker and was loved by her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Francis Clemmons, and Ann Savant and her husband Mike both of Kinder; one brother, Pierre Nevils of Kinder; two sisters, Ruth Savant and Ouida Savant both of Kinder; five grandchildren, Duane Clemmons, Katy Clemmons Wellman, Kari Savant Chaisson, Darla Savant LaPoint and Dylan Savant; and six great grandchildren, Nolan, Natalie, Baily, Karly, Justin and Laikyn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan Eugene Williams; her parents, Luke and Fannie Nevils; one sister Jeannine Nevils Connley and three brothers, Daniel Nevils, Denver Nevils and Luke Nevils, Jr. Words of comfort may be left for the family at www.ardoinfuneralhome.com
