Oberlin-Funeral service for Mary H. Eymard, 70, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oberlin. Bro. Jeremy Brown will officiate. Burial will follow in Lyles Cemetery under the direction of Allen Parish Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Allen Parish Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service.
Mary was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved her church and teaching Sunday school. Mary's passion was helping others. She was a sweet and loyal friend to all. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Mary's memory include her daughters, Rhonda Eymard Becnel and husband, Roland, of Gretna and Denise Eymard of Harvey; her five grandchildren, Taylor and Cassidy Eymard and Sarah, Alaina, and Kyle Becnel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben and Joyce Henry; her husband, Darryl Eymard, Sr; her son, Darryl Eymard, Jr; her brother, Jimmy Henry; her twin sister, Betty Henry Pelas; and, her brother-in-law, Layne Pelas.
