Kinder-Funeral service for Mary Ann Dubroc, 66, will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, September 8, 2014 in the chapel of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Alton Hoednett will officiate. Ardoin Funeral Home has been entrusted with all arrangements.
Visitation will begin on Monday morning, September 8, 2014 from 9 A.M. until time of service.
Mary Ann was a resident of Iowa. She was a loving mom and devoted grandmother. She helped raise many children besides her own. She could be compared to the "Little Old Lady Who Lived In the Shoe." She spent her life taking care of her family and others, as well. She enjoyed cooking, watching movies, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Robert "Brother" Dubroc, his wife, Amanda, and their daughter, Skylar, of Iowa; one daughter, Hayley Dubroc of Iowa; her children's loving father, Robert Gibbs of Alabama; two brothers, Roy Dubroc of Oakdale and Perry "Punch" Dubroc of Eunice; one sister, Linda Dubroc of Kinder; as well as many other family members.
Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Lovell and Marie Dubroc; two children-Michael and Christopher Lopez; and 7 siblings-Rita, Barbara, Ray, Joseph, Pierre "Sugar", Paul and Infant Marie "Poochie" Dubroc.
